They have a beautiful ranch in the part of Jutland and a POND! My father in law said that he would like to bury the pond since it is over grown and they do not have patience to work on it anymore. I got pretty upset with that idea so I asked them to reconsider and if I look after it every 3 month when I come for a visit will they keep it. They said yes, and now I am kind of a POND KEEPER ! This time I cleaned all I could and pruned the vegetation.<br /><strong>Here is a photo journal of my first pond experience;</strong><br />Photo No.1 - Me removing the over grown vegetation. You can see that the water is not deeper than 60cm. Pond has to be topped up with more water, but no one did it in ages. The deepest spot is 90cm. The pond is approx. 10 meters long and 4 meters wide.<br />I removed lots of Duck weed, but there is still lots left behind.
